Lola's 82nd Birthday at Mary Jay Restaurant

My cool Lola - 82 years old pero mukhang mas younger pa than her age!

Last April 12 (Sunday), we had an advance birthday celebration for our lola who will turn 82 on April 20. The reason for the advance party was that she'll be leaving the following day for Pangasinan and will have a month long vacation in my kuya's house. The venue for our salo-salo is one of the well known restaurants here in Malabon - Mary Jay Restaurant. I reserved two tables for 17 people and ordered in advance the food that we're going to eat. Here's what I ordered:

6 orders of Yang Chow Fried Rice for P 960.00


3 orders of Sisig for P 450.00


6 orders of Chicharon Bulaklak - P 840.00


1 order of Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet (Tanigue) - P 300.00

2 orders of Mary Jay's Fried Chicken - P 600.00


2 orders of Pansit Canton - P 220.00

All of these cost us only P 5,356.00 which also includes 3 pitchers of Iced Tea for P 360.00 and 9 bottles of San Mig Light for 306.00, all 17 of us were very full when we left the place... the food is good, the service is fast and the price is quite cheap.
