Jeff's 7th Birthday

Wow! I really need an extra effort to arrange the pictures of his 7th birthday. I needed days to properly arrange this post (sorry for those who are waiting). The theme was Sponge Bob Square Pants, Sponge Bob is Jeffrey's favorite cartoon character that's why we chose this theme. I wanted this theme also because there were so many Sponge Bob stuffs that you can buy in the market. Hubby and I were very excited in preparing for this party, imagine it was August of last year when I started eyeing for SB stuffs and purchase them batch by batch, hehehe...

There was a delay in posting this because this week is the 4th monthly exam of Jeffrey so I need to guide him for the review of his 8 subjects. Anyway, so much of the waiting, here are the pics that we wanted to share with you guys!

This tarpaulin was printed by Info Station in Abad Santos...
I like the print-out of this tarp, lumabas siyang matingkad ang color.

This was Jeff's invites

We printed some sketch for those guests who are not familiar with the place.

This were the lootbags (SB Backpacks) for the kids...
Grabe it took me months to complete the items that I included inside.

(Unti-unti ang bili...hehehe)

These candies and chocolates were from Mom,
I put them in a small bag that I included in the backpacks.

Days before his birthday, I was busy packing these candies and chocolates
in our shop. (Effort talaga!)

So here is the complete items inside the backpack.
(Candy pack, small white board, some toys, krabby patties and a coloring booklet)

These were the prizes for the games...

Cutie SB rubber balls from Tita Sasa :)

For Jeffrey's Cake and souvenir cupcakes, I asked Ms. Emily Uy of Sugarbox to do it for me 5 months before his birthday. Somebody told me kasi that even if malayo pa ang event at puno na siya for that day ay hindi ka na niya maa-accommodate. Thank God at nabigyan pa ako ng slot! Super nice si Ms. Emily and she'll work within your budget. Sobrang nag-exceed siya sa expectation ko, before nung nag-inquire ako sa kanya akala ko sa budget ko ay walang free set-up pero nung dineliver na yung cakes and cupcakes ay may nag-set-up at may free pa akong cupcake tower! Super thank you talaga Ms. Emily :)

The guy wearing a yellow shirt is one of the staff na nag-set-up ng cake and the cupcakes.

Doon na niya inassemble si Sponge Bob (topper) and the tower, hehehe...

Pardon me for the blurred pic... :(
The cake flavors were Chocolate Mud pie (1st layer) and Carrol Walnut (2nd layer)
Ang sarap ng cake at super bigat niya, siksik na siksik not unlike other cakes na magaang at puro hangin. Nasarapan din ang mga guest sa flavors ng cupcakes.

Here are the souvenir cupcakes with Sponge Bob and Patrick toppers.
Same flavors with the cake.

Here is the complete set-up :)

For the balloons, I asked Janet to do it for me.
I wanted to have a balloon decor for the venue.
(She did the balloon decor for my Lola's 80th birthday)

The camera shy Janet and her assistant.

Here are the balloon centerpieces.

2 pillars in front

Here's the outcome of Janet's talent...
(Super cheap po siya maningil, pasok na pasok sa budget!)

Family pic first before the party started...

Another family pic with Yeye and the two
clowns Dennis and John Paul

The kids waiting for the party to start

The party started with a prayer by Ninang Marj
(funny yung mga clowns...nag-pray over, hehehe)

Kids singing the Birthday Song... alive na alive ang mga kids sa pagkanta!

I really wanted Rafael Restaurant to be the venue of the party because I know that my guests will love the food. Puro specialty nila ang pinili ko na wala sa package nila pero pinagbigyan naman ako. I so love Ate Bhaby! Talagang na feel ko na special yung service na ibinigay nila sa amin. Thanks also to kuya Boyet, Elvie, kuya, (the waiter who assisted us in the morning set-up 'till it ended around 6:00 pm) and to all the staff who help us in the preparation.

The buffet table

We prefer Filipino food for the buffet... All the guests were satisfied with the food.
Madami ang bumalik for second round... hihihi!

Honey Glazed Chicken

The best Beef Kaldereta I've ever tasted!

Lechon Kawali was a hit too!

Super yummy Sotanghon Guisado!

and of course the rice...

I'm so sad that I forgot to take pics of the dessert and the soup as well :(
Dessert was Ube Gelatin and the soup was Crab and Corn Soup.
Ooops! I'm craving for the ube gelatin just by thinking of it.

Kids meal

Jeff with Ate Inah and Ate Mai-mai

7 kids participated in the 7 gifts

(Ate Inah, Maive, Ate Mai-mai, Nicole, Kirstin, Ate Michelle, and Jigo)

7 Words of Wisdom from
Ninong Al, Tita Mhila, Tita Leng, Tita Anne, Mommy, Daddy and Ma

The kids with Jeffrey

These two are the party hosts namely Kuya Dennis and Kuya John Paul
(Magaling silang mag-handle ng party, no dull moments)

Kids had so much fun with the balloon twisting show...

The most applauded part of their show was the Puppet Show
The tandem of Goyong and Kuya John Paul was a hit to the kids and adults.

Sobrang nakikinig ng husto ang mga kids sa puppet show!
My bunso really enjoyed this part!

Jeffrey's picture taking with Goyong

and now.... the magic show!

Hubby participated in the magic show, ako rin may participation kaso hindi ko na ipo-post yung picture ko, tawa kasi ako ng tawa eh, saka bugbog sarado yung clown sa akin, hehehe...
(napilitang magsayaw si hubby, hehehe)

For the kids, this is one of the much awaited....

and the PiƱata that's full of krabby patties and some candies... hehehe...

The last part of course is giving away the backpacks with goodies inside :)

Well that's it guys... I'll post more pics on Friendster soon...
