If you're craving for a delicious but affordable Chinese food you may try Silver Crown Restaurant in Monumento. The food is good and the price is very affordable. According to a friend of mine, this restaurant was the famous "Pines Restaurant" in Monument known for their tasty Pansit Bihon. They stopped their operation wayback because the building that they were renting before was now occupied by Puregold. But when they re-opened 4 or 5 years ago they changed it to Silver Crown and the restaurant has become much bigger and better than before. I think it was a good strategy because they now have more customers and a much bigger parking space.
As always, before Kuya leaves the country to work onboard, he makes it appoint to treat us with a special dinner (his flights were always 9:00 pm to 11 pm maybe it was just a coincidence). We just take-out some food in Silver Crown because there was no way to eat out coz nobody will replace hubby in the shop.

Their Shanghai is mush better than Jollibee (IMHO)

BTW, we ate here the other day, super sulit and the quality and taste of the food don't compromise. We were 8, two of whom were kids. We paid only 800++php. Super busog may take out pa.
As compared to David's Tea House, Gloria Maris or Emerald Garden, a meal for our family would normally cost 2000++php.
naku sana nalaman ko agad para na try ko rin malapit lang sa amin ngayon ko lang nalaman na mas masarap na chinese cuisine sa monumento pag anniv, ng asawa ko dyan ko yayain kasama ang mga anak ko.
