Yesterday was a different experience for me, I was here at home waiting for the text and calls from my hubby about what's happening in the competition. The original plan was that I'm the one who's going to watch the contest together with Jeff and my friend Jhay with her daughter Kirstin but sad to say, I was down with flu yesterday. Si hubby din ay hindi mapakali sa kanyang pwesto, according to him, he's really hiding sa 2nd floor ng foodcourt because he doesn't want our son to be conscious if he'll know that one of us is watching him competing on stage. Nakakatuwa pa ay mapapanood itong laban nila sa Studio 23 every Sunday at 11:00 am, kaninang umaga ay elementary level (Manila/Pasay) ang pinalabas, I just don't know when will they air the episode of the High School level ng CaMaNaVa area. Mag-aabang na lang ako every Sunday.
Prayers helps a lot. We told him to pray, pray and pray before the contest starts. Hubby told me that before the contest he thinks that Justine is confident, he's not that nervous. Maybe because he really prepared for that competition that's why he emerged as the Division Champion of Caloocan area with 19 points, and Valenzuela Science High got 18 points as the MANAVA Champion. Malaki ang area ng Caloocan kaya hiniwalay siya sa MaNaVa. Pero kung susumahin, our son got the highest score, kung kukunin lang ang isang champion para sa CaMaNaVa si Justine na yon. Pero ok lang, hehehe he made it to the next level (Regional) and we thank God for the blessing.
This is really a very special birthday gift ni God kay Justine, he'll be turning 16 on the 9th of this month (kasabay ng aming wedding anniv). Anak, were very very proud of you!
