Estrel's Caramel Cake

I've been reading great reviews from food bloggers about this Caramel cake from Estrel's. So last Father's Day, me and my hubby went to Quezon City to pick-up our reserved caramel cake. I'm excited to see their shop and I want to share it with you guys...

A very simple yet elegant store...


I did not see any refrigerated pastry case. Just these racks that's full of reserved cakes...

Breakfast ni Jeffrey

Hay naku ang anak kong bunso ay addict sa almusal na ito, garlic rice, Maling and scrambled eggs ang kanyang pinadtitripang kainin lately. Paano ba naman kasi ang aga ng pasok niya, 6:30 ang time niya sa school pero naman, yung service ay sinusundo siya ng 5:30 am. Grabe ang sakripisyo ko, aga ko gising at 4:00 am kailangan ko ng gumising para ipagluto ang dalawa kong anak ng almusal. Nagrereklamo na nga si Kuya niya, puro na lang daw yon. hehehe eto namang si bunso ang sagot kay kuya niya eh "Eh di wag kang kumain, mag Jam ka na lang" hehehe... panigurado sa sagot na iyon, may batang iiyak at magsusumbong na "Mommy si kuya oh, inaano ako!!!" waaaahhh....


Hayyy....

Di bale, at least nabubusog siya, kaysa naman pumasok siyang walang laman ang tiyan... naku! Kawawa ang bebe ko...

Brownies at Becky's Kitchen

Favorite ko ang brownies sa Becky's Kitchen. I remember nung hindi pa diabetic si hubby ay lagi ko siyang nilalambing na bumili ng brownies and swiss chocolate sa Becky's. Super sarap kasi ng kanilang brownies, IMHO ay mas masarap siyang di hamak sa Goldilocks.


Tuwing nakikita ko ang box na ito ay tumatalon ang aking puso sa tuwa.


Lalo na kapag ito'y binuksan na....


at umpisahan ng lafangin! hahaha

Paano ako papayat nito? kung etong mga pagkain na ito ang nakikita ko....

Bonding time

Ang sarap ng feeling when you're with people na talagang mahal na mahal mo, family bonding sa case namin ay bihirang mangyari because sa nature ng aming business. But if mayroong ganitong pagkakataon ay we make sure na talagang sulitin ang mga oras na ganito para mapasaya ang mga bata. Itong nakaraang lakad namin sa The Fort ay one of the memorable kasi halos maghapon kaming magkakasama in a special place ng hindi nag-iintindi ng aming business dahil may nagbantay for us (hehehe).


How I wish na magkaroon kami ng property dito someday.... haaaayyyyy...

Sabi niya "Mommy bakit wala pang ulan?"

We were there kasi at 10:30 am, most of the shops sa Bonifacio High Street at Serendra ay open at 11:00 am.


My kids bonding moment... walang asaran diyan, thank God! They enjoyed the food at Guilligan's so much, the food is very good and the prices are very affordable ;)


I'm very happy to see moment like this.


and this of course! hehehe

I'm looking forward for another bonding time. Nakakatanggal ng stress sa business ang mga ganitong moments...

Serendra is the place wherein you can find one of the best cupcakes in town. Cupcakes by Sonja is definitely number one on my list sa mga dapat kong bilhin para mai-feature dito sa aking munting blog.

Next time na bumalik kami dito yung ibang flavors naman ang mai-try. Kaso napakalayo ng The Fort dito sa Malabon, sana sipagin uli si hubby na mag-aya dito sa Serendra.

Arce Dairy Ice Cream

When I was in college, ang Arce Dairy ang isa sa favorite namin ni hubby na Ice Cream, mas masarap at mas creamy siya sa ibang kasabayan niya. Medyo pricey nga lang, pero sulit naman dahil you'll never be disappointed sa kanilang line of ice cream. My husband nowadays enjoys Arce too because they have different flavors of sugar free ice cream. When we're at The Fort and after eating our lunch, I treated them for a dessert. Outside Giligan's I saw a Fiorgelato Cafe but to our dismay, wala silang sugar free ice cream at that moment. Akala ko, hindi ko mati-treat si hubby, buti na lang may nakita akong Arce Dairy booth at doon na kami bumili. Mahal na talaga ang Arce Dairy, imagine P180.00 for just 3 cones of ice cream with flavors: Caramel, Durian and the sugar free mantecado. Anyway, ok lang cause we enjoyed eating them.
